Environmental Restoration
The experience gained in the implementation of successive five year plans in the country emphasized the need for the participation of the people in planning, implementation & monitoring. Increased industrialization & economic development has resulted in enormous amount of carbon emission, polluting the environment and affecting the health of rural women. Shanti Ashram is implementing the environmental restoration program in collaboration with National Technical institutions, Self Help Group members, Local bodies and the village communities.
